Tesla sales collapse across Europe

Deliveries down by more than 50 percent in many countries

Tesla is experiencing a sharp decline in several major markets. According to recent data, deliveries in countries such as France, Sweden and Denmark have fallen to less than half of last year’s levels — a dramatic reversal for the electric-car maker.

The trend is echoed across Europe. Intensifying competition from new EV models, price pressure and shifting consumer sentiment have all contributed to Tesla’s weakening position. Political tensions and reputational friction around Elon Musk have further complicated the company’s market standing.

Germany, one of Tesla’s most important European markets, saw an especially steep drop: In October 2025, sales fell by more than 50 percent year-on-year.

The downturn raises broader questions about the future of the EV expansion phase. After years of explosive growth, the market appears to be entering a correction — and Tesla is feeling the shift more than any competitor.
